Can Anybody Do It?

Of course.

Making money on the web is not rocket science. In fact, I will bet that you are probably dealing with harder things in your job right now.

Yes, there will be a learning curve. Yes, there will be setbacks and disappointments. And yes, things will probably be slow at first.

But that's what happens when you try anything new, Internet-related or not.

But after a while, you will get the hang of it. It becomes easy.

The Internet is no different. It is just something new for you to try. You'll get the hang of it after a while.

But I'm sure you still have some concerns. That's normal. Let me address the more common concerns.

I can't sell to save my life

Sorry, kiddo.

On the internet, selling is necessary.  There are no two ways about it - you have to sell.

But I will let you in on a little secret.

I can't sell to save my life too.   :)

But selling on the internet and selling in real life are two completely different things.  You don't have to look the customer in the eye, shake his hand, or compliment him on his absolutely atrocious golf game.

Selling on the internet is actually very much simpler.  In the beginning, you have to test and refine your sales pitch but once you get it right, you just keep doing the same thing.

What is even better is that with the correct software, the software will be the one doing the sales pitch and following up with the customer.  You just have to answer the ocassional email.

I don't have enough time

Let's face it, you are never going to have enough time.  You will always have commitments, schedules and deadlines.

Make time.

I have got no money

Hey, don't look at me.  I'm not going to lend you any money.  :)

But seriously....

All you need to do is to spend a little less on groceries, or cut the kids' allowance (sorry kids), or just stay at home and watch TV for one night a month.

We talked about $50 a month.  Of course it helps if you can spare a little more, but $50 a month is perfectly adequate for a start. I'm sure you can afford that.

This Internet Stuff is hard

I am not going to tell you that you don't need to learn anything new.  I am not going to tell you that a three year old can learn this.  I am not going to tell you that it is as simple as ABC.

It IS a little difficult.

But you are here, aren't you?  You are reading this on your web browser so you have already figured out how to log on to the net and surf the web.

You are halfway there.

The going is gonna get a little tougher but you have a good head on those shoulders, right?

I will bet that you can do it.

I know it is a lot of things to learn.  Take it one thing at a time, one day at a time.  And in a month or two you would be surprised at the amount of things you have learnt.
